Janice Tiessen joined the Population Health Research group in the spring of 2004 and is currently working as a full time Data Manager/Analyst. Janice has a degree in Health Studies from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Science degree in Epidemiology from University of Toronto. She is involved in the internal evaluation of the Program Training and Consultation Centre (PTCC). The PTCC provides training, consultation, information, networking opportunities and referral services related to tobacco control to Ontario health promoters. Janice is also Database Manager for the 2004-5 Youth Smoking Survey project, a Health Canada sponsored survey of students in grades 5 through 9.
