Researchers who would like to deposit data in the Population Health Data Repository are encouraged to fill out a Data Deposit Form. Data depositors are required to follow the PHDR Guidelines for Preserving Confidentiality of Research Participants to ensure data is de-identified. Data received that does not follow these guidelines will be returned. Data can be submitted to the PHDR on CD or memory stick or sent by FTP. Data should not be sent via email.
Ownership of all data in the PHDR is retained by researchers contributing data sets. Data is not released for secondary analysis without permission from the data owner. Data users must fill out a proposal to request data. Proposals are forwarded on to data owners for approval. Successful applicants will be required to sign a license agreement.
